1930s-Style Vest & Trousers
I researched, drafted, cut, and constructed this set of a wool trousers and vest myself. It features six fully functional pockets and a fly front zipper. The vest is fully lined.
Doña Ana's dress, House of Desires
Aside from the neck ruff and some minor finishing, I constructed the entirety of Doña Ana's 16th century, Spanish Golden Age gown. The main fabrics were velvet and taffeta. It features a boned bodice, puffs on the sleeves, and precise ribbon detailing.
Gloria's dress, Wait Until Dark.
Because I was both the designer for this show and a stitcher working in the BYU costume shop, I had the opportunity to completely design, pattern, mockup, and construct this dress. It is fully lined with a back zipper and funtional pockets.
Mary's Spring Dress, A Secret Garden
This dress was made for a child's proportions. It has one side pocket and the bodice is fully lined.
